DESCRIPTION:
New York state tall clock, 8 day, time and bell strike, weight driven movement in a mahogany and mahogany veneer case with crotch mahogany door and plinth, turned full columns with urn and twist design flanking both hood and trunk door and cross banded broken arch pediment with brass rosettes and finials. The painted iron dial is decorated with roses, two birds and nest and has date aperture and second's bit, c1830
CONDITION:
the case has been professionally refinished and looks great with one repair on lower left corner of broken arch. The painted metal dial is in excellent condition with some minor touch up. The door glass in hood and the finials are replacements. The hands are cut steel. The movement is in excellent condition and has been recently serviced. Ht 96 1/4" to tip of center finial
